A couple who hired chef Steve for an engagement dinner in 2024 said the roasted vegetable medley with harissa and pesto and the smoked chicken were restaurant quality and that he was attentive to their dietary restrictions. A 2026 review praised the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and Korean Fried Chicken as the highlight of the night. But another 2026 review, only 2 stars, said the billing was not transparent, that groceries were supposed to be itemized separately from the 5 hour cooking minimum but weren't broken down clearly, and items got billed like a full jar was used when only a small amount was.
